APRIL 2022 PRESENTATION
We are delighted for the opportunity to be joined for our upcoming patient health talk on Rheumatology, Bone Health and Osteoporosis with Dr Ziad Farah, Consultant Rheumatologist. Rheumatic diseases are inflammatory and often autoimmune in nature. That means that your immune system erroneously attacks healthy tissues. Rheumatic diseases tend to affect the following parts of the musculoskeletal system: joints, muscles, bones, tendons and ligaments.
You may see rheumatic diseases lumped under the general term “arthritis.” While rheumatic diseases do encompass some forms of arthritis, they also include many other conditions. If you would like to know more about this particular medical concern, or are suffering from health issues as a result of rheumatic disease, then this would be a great talk for you to join.
